Focke Wulf FW 190
 
The FW 190 was fast, maneuverable and very responsive and was to be the best fighter deployed in numbers of the Luftwaffe in the war. the aircraft was very flexible and it was used for many types of
missions.
The 190-F was a ground attack and bomber interceptor version and carried extra armor plating to protect the pilot and the engine.The FW 190-D was a pure air superiority fighter and was in fact almost more maneuverable than the spitfire.
