Spitfire
The Spitfire is the most famous aircraft from WWII.

The spitfire could outturn and outrun every enemy aircrafts of its time. The Spitfire had a Roll-Royce merlin engine wich gave the aircraft more power but less weight.

The later models had a Griffon liquid-cooled engine.

The armament was either eight .303 caliber machine guns (early models), or two .303 caliber guns and two Hispano 20mm cannons. The spitfire was built in more than 45 models and the most famous were the I, II, V, IX, XIV.
I and II were the first models and they took part in the Battle of Britain.
Mark V was produced in most numbers.
Mark IX and XIV had excellent climb rate, maneuverability and firepower.
