Faye mentioned it herself that the title of this song kinda suits her as she is the type of person who do things halfway sometimes. This statement was from her interview on TCS 8 when Faye stayed on her 2nd night in Singapore to hold her 2 day concert as well as to celebrate Chinese New Year on 14 Feb 1999.

Love commandments - it was actually the first mtv to be released. I liked the graphic of this MTV where Faye could actually stand on the ceiling and the walls too!

The tune of this song was very soothing, especially with her natural beautiful voice to make it so captivating.
Thou' the pitch of Faye's voice was high (like opera) in this song but she sounded very professinal. I like the chorus 'cause it's another voice and side of Faye. In fact, it's very like Faye. It sounds kind of rebellious and makes me just want to let go kind of feeling. You have to hear it.
This is another one of my favourite songs, Love Life. The MTV had a cockcroach following Faye around a hotel. Faye kept looking behind to see whether who was following her. Then it also had Faye in the laundry room sitting on a huge washing machine! Faye then went back to the hotel room, and she took out a few VCR tapes, in the end she took a blanket, placed the VCR tapes onto it and dragged them to the laundry room where she dumped the tapes into the washing machine, closed the door and heaved a sigh of relief.
I like everything of this song, fly. The feeling it gave was just like flying, like a bird. The lyrics says, could the bird on the roof be you, could that cloud in the sky be you. It was like she was hoping that her deceased beloved could hear her saying all these words to him. Very nice song.
I like this MTV and song a lot, except the part where Faye and Dou Wei appeared like they are so happy. I wonder are they on good terms then? However, most of the MTV shows a real honest side of Faye, mischievous, smart, a woman of her own unique style and character, that's what she is.
