First Test-drive for DRC Torch GTV/R

Jan 25, 1998: | The DRC Torch GTV/R has had its first test drive. Its objective was testing the carbon-fiber chassis. The car used an twin-turbo inline-4 Alfa Romeo engine (modified by DRC). Although this engine is not the definitive one, it served to give our engineers valuable information for its tuning. The Torch absorbed successfully the most of the vibrations produced by that 220-bhp engine. Engineers anounced that possibly, there could be a version of this car with an updated Alfa-DRC engine.
