Annai velankanni polytechnic was started by the Annai velankanni Eductional and Social Society during the acadamic year 1986-87.Dated 10-09-1986.

It is recogniser by the Govt.of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the Board of Techanical Education ,madras-25.its   G.O.Ms. No. is 946 dated 09-07-1986.

This institution is located at Anguchetty palayam 3 k. m away from panruti town on Chithoor -Cuddalore High ways roadside .Frequent Bus Facilities are availble.

This sole  aim of  the  Institution is Provoiding Technical Education to pupils of South Arcot Vallalar District
