Finally we found our way to the big lake in the mountains.
Half the way, in the middle of the wooden nowhere we reached a store. Some
five years ago it was impossible to buy other things than nails, shoecreme
and dry biscuits in stores like that, but astonishing this time everything
from jam to canned pork was available. At the lake we found a place to camp directly
at its bank, close to a spring. We decided to go fishing for our diner as
we did several times before.
Fishing is all over the Carpats possible. I'm no fisher but my two comrades are, they were impressed by the richness of the rivers and lakes. To go fishing a licence is needed. We went fishing without a license, not because the price which is about 10$ but it is nearly impossible in the mountains to find someone selling licenses. The normal fee for fishing without licence is , as I heard, 20$ (including a licence).
We had no fish this evening, after bathing worms a few hours they gave up.
