Nancy is tragically struck by a car as she chases after Chloe. Chloe watches as Craig works to save Nancy. She feels incredibly guilty and blames herself for this, so she decides to leave town. Nancy is rushed to the hospital and is forced to undergo emergency surgery to save her life. Afterwards, Nancy falls into a coma and fights for her life as Craig prays for a Christmas miracle. His prayers are answered when someone with an angelic voice comes to visit Nancy! Chloe's singing brings Nancy out of her coma on Christmas Eve.
Gina tricks Stefano into returning to Paris for his precious Spring Morning. Once there, Kurt and Gina manage to lock Stefano in the Turret with Hope! Hope and Stefano are forced to spend Christmas with one another. Merry Christmas Hope and Stefano!
As Christmas nears, Nicholas makes advances towards Kate, while Victor's control issues cause problems for his relationship with Kate. Which man will she chose to be with? Nicholas and Kate are caught under the mistletoe, and Victor almost catches them about to share a kiss!

The Hortons gather for their annual tree decorating ceremony, and Doug and Julie drop by Salem for an extended visit! As they decorate the tree, Doug and "Hope" share a touching reunion, but Doug can't help but think there is something different about his daughter. Later, "Hope" asks Bo a very important question.
