My Ride.
OK dokie this is the car that I drive , it ain't a Porsche or a Ferrari but it sure as hell satisfying to drive , in this page I will illustrate to you why I say so. I've been driving this car for 5 months now , though it has given me some problems from time to time , but when its running its just find and dandy . Recently with the help of three of my friends I managed to conduct something like a documentary about the car.
To begin with , its like another car , its an Alfa Romeo 155 1.8 16v . Its powerplant is a 1800cc , 16 valves DOHC unit which produces about 140bhp at standard. But who the fuck wants a car that sounds like a pussy , u need to change a few things here and there to make it perform and thus thats exactly what I did. below is a wide screen version of my engine.
well there u go , In Malaysia , the government doesn't allow innocent drivers like me to modify cars , but , when there is a will there is a way . The first thing I did was get rid of that stupid catalytic converter , and changed the center box of the exhaust system to a much better one , next I decided that the airbox needed some modification so I went down all the way to Singapore to get the K&N filter replacement element ,somehow after I had fitted it , it did not sound nice enough so I drilled the underside and front of the airbox , a slight improvement in power was noticed and the noise level increased to a more acceptable level. After that I changed the spark plugs to Splitfires and had the engine oil changed to a better one . the biggest improvement that i noticed was from the superchips which I had bought from Singapore .
