coal mining town provides the Mako Reactor at Mt.
Corel with necessary elements and coals sent by
railroad. North Corel is completely in ruins,
destroyed by Shinra troops who claimed an
accident took place. The townspeople believed it
to be caused by Barret Wallace, who grew up there in
his younger years.

This
fancy beach resort is a popular one with
honeymoon couples. Its warm weather, high tides,
tanning shops, and beautiful sandy beaches make
it the perfect getaway. Costa Del Sol is
accessable by boat with its docks, and helicopter
with its helipad. It has an island cuisine, gift
shop, and an Villa for sale.

This
canyon village is the home of Red XIII and his grandfather Bugenhagen.
It has a reputation of a spirtual town with it's
meditation practices and peaceful atmosphere. The
observatory, owned by Bugenhagen, looks far into
the sky. In addition, Bugenhagen also has a
sophisticated astrological dome. Within the
canyon is the Cave of Gi.

This massive maze of
caves is the home of the Gi*Natataku, sent to protect the
secret of its past. Outside the caves, the statue of Seto
remains untouched by time, standing beneath the moon and
protecting the people of Cosmo Canyon.

This
amusement park, Vegas style, is one of the
hottest entertainment estabishments in the world.
From Chocobo racing to roller
coasters, this Gold Saucer has pleasing tastes
for everyone. In addition, it is practically the
home of Cait Sith, a mysterious fortune
teller. This saucer is located high above the
ground and requires the skyway tram from North
Corel to enter. Beneath it lies a desert prision
and impassible junkyard.

Prison
Beneath this massive
amusement park likes a massive desert prison, claimed
unescapable. Populated by bums, thiefs, and lowlifes,
this prison area is governed by no one.

This
town was home the famous Shinra rocket, which
failed during its first launch and remained
within the confines of the launch structure
since. It's the home of Cid
Highwind,
a warm hearted old pilot who's dream is to reach
the stars. It's also the home of the Tiny Bronco,
a small plane created by Cid.

Gongaga
rests comfortably near a jungle area, but is
surrounded by old debris. This old town used to
consist of a Mako reactor which later exploded
and decimated much of the surrounding population.
Barely able to make it on their own, the
residents work long and hard to keep what is left
of their lives. It's lightly populated and
extremely run down.

This
Japanese town has become somewhat of a tourist
trap, but still keeps tradition with houses,
shops, a pagoda, and sacred mountains. The people
are friendly, but somewhat tiresome of the
tourism which has plaqued the town. It is the
home town of Yuffie Kisaragi.

Statue
Along the
mountainside near Wutai are the Da-Chao statues, created
by the ancestors and founding community of Wutai. These
statues are massive in size and impressive in style and
are one of the main attractions for tourists.

Nibelheim
was once the home of Cloud and Tifa. However, five years ago
Nibelheim was completely destroyed in a massive
fire. Returning to see the town untouched by time
and as if the incident never happened, Cloud and
Tifa both grow extremely concerned. The
townspeople act as if Cloud is crazy and show no
knowledge of the town's fate five years ago.

Mansion
This spooky Mansion
was reserved for Shinra troops and personel assigned to
the reactor positioned in the Nibelheim mountains.
Abandoned and useless, it sits in Nibelheim, holding
answers to the past, and ultimately a massive library
which hundreds of Shinra secrets. Inside this mansion,
underneath the basement depths lies Vincent
Valentine.

These dangerous
mountains lead to the Nibelheim reactor, which holds the
secret Jenova project; designed to recreate beings with
powers of the Cetra.

ancient forest, the home of many plants
and animals, holds a mysterious past and
possesses a strange secret. Though strange and
dangerous, many treasures await inside.
