The Honda '92 CR 125 was much like the previous model, except the '92 models forks were worse.
Power: The CR 125 engine produced a wide, and strong, power spread through the RPM range. The low-end was not strong, but it was not particularly weak either. After the engine reved out of the low-end, it pulled strong and smooth through the RPM range.
Suspension: Honda tried correcting the '91 models too stiff forks with softer springs and some valving changes. Honda blew it. The forks were too soft and this affected the bikes handling. Firmer fork springs helped the action considerably, but the fork action did not generate many cheers of overwhelming satisfaction. The rear suspension offered fair bump control. The rear suspension would spike and jar the rider on squared off bumps.
Handling: The '92 CR 125 was a comfortable bike to ride. It was a razor sharp turning machine and was actually a little stable at speed. Stiffer fork springs perked up the CR 125's high speed stability.
Reliability: The '92 CR 125 was a very reliable bike and relatively trouble free. Apparently, Honda cured the high RPM engine "popping" in '92
Odds & Ends: The '92 CR 125 can be an okay trail/play bike and can be raced competitively in amateur MX events. Install the firmer fork springs.
