Mittler Bros. Press release following the NCTS race at Las Vegas
McMurray impressive once again with an 11th place finish in the Orleans 250
“Wow this is a lot of fun,” McMurray said after his 11th place finish this weekend. The 22-year-old native of Joplin, Missouri in his fourth Nascar Craftsman Truck Series start, McMurray posted a career-best finish in the American Trucking/ Mittler Bros. Machine and Tool Ford Owned by Mike Mittler.
“The guys put a great truck together and I was able to run in the top 15 all day. The truck was as high as 9th but an untimely pit stop took me out of a top ten finish,” McMurray explained.
“Jamie has made remarkable strides this year as a Nascar Craftsman Truck Series driver, just look at that accident He was able to avoid during Andy Houston's spin on lap 13. We look forward to a run for Rookie of The Year next year,” added Mike Mittler.
Jamie caught the red eye flight Saturday to race in The Remax Challenge Series in Rockford Illinois Saturday where he qualified third, but was involved in an early wreck that took him out of the race. In the Remax Series, Jamie is currently leading The Rookie Of The Year Standings and is 7th in overall points.
