This is a great pic of dad with his crew. Notice that no two guys are dressed alike! Dad is standing on the far right.
Here's a shot of dad with the ball turret gunner. Guess which one is the ball turret gunner?!!! ;-)
Here's another picture of dad, this time he's standing outside his "office." He flew 9 missions as tail gunner before his crew became a lead crew and he moved up to waist gunner. The co-pilot got to fly in the tail to monitor the large formation. The mission commander took the co-pilot's seat!
