WELCOME ON MY
CARS PAGE

Hello again!

If you liked my used car buying tips on the main page, I think you should read this one too. Sometimes you're out there, looking for the best deal on a used, or a new wehicle, but not sure what to get & how to get it, so no one rips you off! You are on the right website, and on the right track here!

Please note that "Whatever I write on this page is no way related to domestic automobile makers, and I have no intention of running down Ford, GM, & Chrysler!" Everything this page contains is coming from personal experience and NOT any kind of media, such as TV, newspapers, Etc.

Just recently my neighbor bought a brand-new Pontiac Grandprix. Four doors, fully loaded, automatic. He was the happiest man on earth because the deal he got on it. He was happy all right, for three months. That was the time, when he had to change the first alternator in his red baby. Five months later came the second, but that was not covered under warranty! Mind you. It cost him about $230- + Taxes. That was at the beginning. About two years ago. Then we had a little talk at the neighborhood barbecue. Now he's driving a 1993 Toyota Camry-LE. By the way, his Pontiac was a 1996. The guy is so happy with his Camry, any time he goes fishing he brings the fish to us!
I really don't want to get into stories too deeply like that, but whatever I write here, I can back it up from personal experience. The reason for this. Not because I'm driving an import, but because the fact that Japanese & European cars are more reliable, more comfortable, better on gas, nicer looking, nicer interior designed, and the list goes on & on. Talking about the great American muscle? Well for what price? My 1992 Integra pushes 140 Bhp with a 1,800 CC engine. You could get the same, or even less power out a 98 Taurus with a V-6, 3 Liter engines. Please don't compare because it doesn't make sense. You get power out of a Mustang Cobra, & Corvette, but for what price? Gimme a break! Especially at the gas-station! People compare Acura NSX with Corvette ZR-1. Are they nuts? Corvette = 5,7 L engines. NSX got 3L V-6 . . .
Another story: My ex girlfriend had a nice Dodge. That was about five, or six years ago. That time I had an 88 Mazda 626 LX Turbo with Lumbar support & AC. We went to Toronto for visiting her father and check out Canada's Paramount Wonderland. No doubt, we had a great time. There is one thing I did not mention. By the time we got to Toronto, wich is about 500 Kms from here. That's approx. 350 Miles. I got a backache so bad that I could hardly get out of her car by the time we got there. When we came back and I jumped in my 626, I thought it's haven! So much for domestic comfort. Ok Chryslers are comfortable at the first 30 minutes when you sit in them. That 30 minutes enough to get convinced by a sales person to buy the vehicle. You have to look at the big picture and see the future. What's gonna happen in three or five years down the road? How much my car is going to worth? If you're one of that people who leased a domestic car from a new-car dealer, please do the math and figure it out just how much you lost on it? What was your total cost? and how much your car worth now . . .? I think you can easily come down to the conclusion that the whole thing about domestic car sales is a big SHOW? Based on advertising, high power commercials and old legends from the 60-ies. Not on quality, but more on pride. Yeah, I'm American, so I will buy American. LOL!!! Please take a minute, and look in the mirror. What do you see? The victim is YOU. At the end it all comes down to the bottom line, You! You pay. You suffer. Think again!
And one more good advise: Please don't wash your Cadillac's engine on your driveway. It's not gonna start for a week!
