Someone who cares for us
Sometimes perfect strangers
Sometimes anything around us
A true friend
Is someone you can trust
Someone who knows
What is best for us
Someone so kind
You can feel warmth
Someone who's there
Whenever you're blue
Someone who smiles
And see your inner self
Not first impressions
That hurts one's self
Thanks for being a friend
Someone new in my life

An friend is someone who's always there for you
A friend who cares and helps you when you're blue
Someone who is very kind and friendly
Someone I want to keep me company
This friend of mine I'll surely keep
In a place here in my heart that's really, really deep
For this friend of mine is very, very special
Like a hundred years, commonly known as a centennial
Call me an angel, I said to my friend
Coz I'll surely be with you until the end
