This archive. What's it all about then?
This is something that I wish all websites with a lot of text information would put up. It is an archive of all the files needed to run the current (at time of downloading) issue of the Fortunian Times. It saves your connection costs, allowing you to read it at your leisure- off-line.
Great. So.. how do I use it?
The first step is to click on the web/arrow picture on page 1 or the text directly below it. This should begin the download.
IE3.0 comes up with a box asking whether it should open it or save it to disk. Select save and choose a location on your hard disk.
All going well, find the file using Winzip, extract and it should unzip in the following way
C:\{pathname}\forton\issue(x)
where C is the letter of your hard disk (for PC compatibles)
{pathname} is the directory chosen to save it to/extract it to
(x) is the issue number
***NOTE: You will end up with a tree of directories containing old issues. Feel free to delete anything. They are all independent. (Assuming you come back for more)
Congratulations. All that's left to do now is read and enjoy. And don't forget to write in with letters, ideas, cool sites, homepages, reviews, stories and features and anything else you can think of.
