ZX3 Modification Page

Possible Focus Modifications: (Underlined are my planned mods)

KKM Intake - S&B Powerstack filter with removal of previous air  intake parts, tube, box, etc. (5-10hp)

Tinting - To block out all those evil uv rays of the sun, using of 3m film

Focussport Exhaust - Free flowing exhaust and a lot better sound (3-6hp)

Superchip - Customized for intake and exhaust, designed to increse air/fuel mixture, firmer shift points, adjust timing (5-7hp)

H&R Springs - Give the car a lower stance and increase handling performance, 1.5" drop

Front and Rear Sway Bars - Stiffens the chassis and body of the car to reduce roll in hard cornering.

Strut Tower Brace - Stiffens the engine bay to reduce flexing in hard cornering.

Performance Pulleys - Designed to increase horsepower by a swap of a pulley to a smaller or larger one (8-10hp)

Turbocharger - Designed to increase horepower in large increaments by using exhaust gases to force more air into intake manifold for combustion. (40-60hp)

Header - Designed to increase air flow right off of exhaust manifold. (12-15HP)

Throttle Body - Made to allow more air to pass into cylinders for combustion and allow for more power thru the entire powerband. (8-12HP)

Cams - Made to allow more air to pass into cylinders and allow air to pass for a longer duration. Makes exhaust sound slightly different also. (15-25HP)

Adjustable Cam Gears - Adjusts the timing of the cams, to advance or retard the timing of the valves. (3-5HP)

Supercharger - This kit will be made by Jackson Racing, and will offer gains of 40% HP and 50% torque increases. (50-75HP)
