* Installation *
1st you`ll need the NOCDROM utility which is available at most GP2 sites, then
copy track file to gp2/circuits directory and rename it to f1ct 1-16 (I recommend
slot 12) be sure to back up your original track.

Create a sub directory in your gp2/gamejams Directory called Rounjams and copy all
of the .jam files into the directory these files are needed to get the full
graphical effect for this track which will take you back to 1968! If you do not
copy all of the .jam files, the graphic effect will be ruined! You should also
use GP2 Edit to change the length of the race in slot 12 to 60 laps. Two GP2 style
circuit maps are provided. You will need to use the utility GP2HIPIC to install
these maps. The larger image (rouenmp3.bmp) which is 480 x 640 resolution should
go in the picture id #14 position if you use slot 12 to install Rouen. The smaller
image (rouenmp4.bmp) which is 330 x 440 resolution should go in position 28.

*Circuit Information *

Circuit Length 6.542 Kilometers, or 4.08 Miles

Laps 60 (F1 Distance-1968)

Rouen hosted the French GP five times. 1952 which was the short course (only 3.16
miles...see if you can find where the turn in the back section used to be); 1957
where Juan Manuel Fangio gave one of his greatest driving exhibitions to the
awestruck fans and other drivers; 1962 where American Dan Gurney won Porche's
only GP victory ever. Dan one again in a Brabham in 1964; "My perennial good luck
in France!". Jacky Ickx won the final GP at Rouen in 1968. It rained, and
tragically Frenchman Jo Schlesser driving his first GP in the air cooled Honda,
that John Surtees refused to drive, crashed at the virage des six freres on the
third lap. The car hit the left bank, flipped over and caught on fire. Ickx, quite
the rain meister of the day, easily won the race. F1 visited Rouen no more after
this race.

Attention! Ne ratez pus les Formula 1 le 7 Juillet, 1968 au cicuit boise' de Rouen

Jean Pierre Beltoise, Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart, Dennis Hulme, Pedro Rodriquiz
