A summary of the 1999 Marching Clarinets Season
The band this year had about 170 members
There were 19 members of the Marching Clarinets
The CSU Rams football team's record was 8-4
For the first time in 13 years, the Rams beat the University of Colorado Buffalos at Mile High Stadium, 41-14
The Rams were "Front Range Champions" defeating Wyoming, CU, and Air Force this season.
The rams played four regular season games on television, on both ESPN and Fox Sports
After a dramatic four way tie at the end of the season, the rams were crowned Mountain West Conference Champions
The title earned them an appearance at the 1999 Liberty Bowl, in Memphis
The Rams lost the Liberty Bowl, versus the University of Southern Mississippi, 23-17
The Marching Clarinets rang in the new millenium in Memphis with our friends from the Southern Mississippi Band.
