When Cassandra DeMarius and her pride of exotic jungle cats and stray domestics moved from Miami to her newly built home in Lakeview in an attempt to give herself a little freedom from watching eyes due to her own peculiarities, she had no idea she would be taking in lost souls from all over several dimensions and universes . . .
The premise of our little scenario is rather simple. This is where you get to see how your favorite characters from whatever place and time (and gaming system), be they alternate earth, fantasy, or science fiction, manage to survive in a small present day city we fondly refer to as Lakeview USA. Lakeview is situated on the edge of a lake and bordered by mountains on one side. For the PC's, it's currently late mid-February, and there's lots of snow. (Weather fairies otherwise known as moderators sent a blizzard.)
We're not as plot based as some lists, the emphasis is on role playing and thinking more than hack and slash, but there's always something running in the background waiting to pop into the fore and scare everyone silly, and if ours don't suit you, you can always run your own. We do have a couple of horror writers and one or two inclined toward bodice ripper scenes, so the rating is a pretty hard R.
