Interfree Anonymizer - This service lets you surf the Web anonymously. It works by loading the document identified by the URL you have specified. Because the document is loaded by the Interfree Anonymizer's server, the site that holds the document will not be able to determine any information about you. You may "test" this service free of charge.

Cheech's Anonymous Remailer - To send an free anonymous message at this site, just plug in your E-mail address and message and press "Send Mail."
- RPK InvisiMail - This is a free standards-based E-mail security add-in for POP3/SMTP Internet e-mail software and Internet gateway servers. With RPK InvisiMail you can transparently send and receive E-mail messages securely over the Internet and have "complete trust" in your Internet communications.

- Win95 AnonyMail (direct download) - This is a free Windows 95 anonymous E-mailer program. It's pretty simple to use, just fill in the blanks
and press the send button.
Security Setup - This outstanding free utility is a must if you use Win 95 and are concerned about security. Using it, you can prevent people from changing your Windows configuration. You can lock your desktop and network settings and prevent changes your hardware settings, etc.
- Lucent Personalized Web Assistant - The LPWA helps you easily create and use consistent unique personal identities at Web sites that provide personalized services. These identities allow you to register at Web sites while keeping your true identity private. LPWA creates these unique identities on demand. - Protecting Your Privacy free brochure - This site is offering a brochure on privacy issues, including information on using protecting your passwords as well as information on Web cookies and E-mail privacy issues. To get a printed brochure, send them an E-mail. Note: be sure to give them your snail mail address if you want the brochure.
- Cookie Cruncher - This is another freeware Internet cookie tool. The latest version works with AOL, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Netscape Navigator. It gives you the power to select which cookies to keep or delete at boot-up. You can also view the content of the cookies and edit Explorer and AOL cookies.
- Eudora Lite with PGP - If you need privacy when sending your E-mail, here's a good free solution: Eudora Light (an excellent
freeware E-mail client) is now bundled with "Pretty Good Privacy for Personal Privacy," the strongest encryption program commercially available for individual users. Because of the current U.S. export restrictions on encryption software, you must verify that you are a citizen of the U.S. or Canada before you can download the software. Available for both PCs and Macs.
- Pretty Good Privacy freeware version - The de-facto global standard for e-mail and file privacy. Available for Macintosh, DOS, and Unix platforms.
- PGPfone - PGPfone (Pretty Good Privacy Phone) is a software package that turns your desktop or notebook computer into a secure telephone. It uses speech compression and strong cryptography protocols to give you the ability to have a real-time secure telephone conversation via a modem-to-modem connection.
- Private Idaho - A free Internet privacy utility for Windows. It simplifies using E-mail with Pretty Good Privacy (see above listing), anonymous remailers, and nym servers, providing you with more electronic privacy.
- Encrypt (direct download) - With Encrypt you can scramble text files so no one can read them
with the password (e.g. to send them as the attachment of an E-mail message). Requires VB5 runtimes. Home page is here.
- The Replay Remailer - A Dutch-based anonymous remailer. Spamming is discouraged. They also operate an Web-based remailer with SSL enabled, and for those who don't have an SSL capable browser, or a browser that doesn't accept self-signed certificates, they operate a Web-based remailer without SSL enabled.
