Canadian-born actor Nicholas Lea stars as Victor, the
maverick ex-cop competing with Mac for Li Ann's love.
Lea appeared in the feature film Bad Company, starring
Ellen Barkin and Laurence Fishburne. Other feature film
credits include The Raffle, From Pig to Oblivion, Extro II,
Star 80, and American Boyfriends, directed by noted
Canadian director Sandy Wilson.
His numerous television appearances include five seasons
as Alex Krycek on The X-Files and three seasons as Enrico
Caruso on The Commish, as well as guest-starring roles on
Maloney, Burning Zone, Jake and The Kid, Lonesome Dove,
Sliders, Robin's Hoods, The Marshal, and the
Alliance Communications television productions E.N.G.,
North of 60, Taking the Falls, Highlander, and Madison.
An accomplished musician, Lea spent five years as the lead

adopted daughter of the formidable "Godfather".
Born in the UK and raised in Toronto, the multi-lingual
actress starred as Pocahontas in the feature film
Pocahontas: The Legend. Her other film credits include a
lead role in Rapa Nui, with Jason Scott Lee and Esai
Morales, co-produced by Kevin Costner for Warner Bros.,
Esperanza (Tales of the Wild), triple Genie Award
nominated Dance Me Outside, and the Alliance Communications
production Black Robe, directed by
Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy), for which she
received a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting
Actress. This film, which garnered six awards in various
categories was named "One of the Year's Ten Best
Pictures of 1991" by Time Magazine, the L.A. Times, and
the Globe and Mail.

imposing figurehead of an elite crime-fighting unit. In 1995, she was a series lead in the CBC's medical drama
Side Effects. Nominated for several Genie and Gemini Awards, including
one for Thunder In My Head, her feature film credits include
Suzanna, Ticket to Heaven, Of Unknown Origin, Separate Vacations, Cadillac Girls, The Adjuster, Whale Music (with Paul Gross of Due South on which she has also made a guest appearance,) and
Paper Trail. As a member of the Board of Women in Film and Television Toronto, she was one of the co-founders of a workshop
studio for actors, writers, and directors.
Her sister Cynthia Dale is also a very well-known Canadian actress.
