Because I'm in the Space Business, I'm always finding neat pictures about the latest developments in space and space technology. Here are a few pictures I've come across which I think are cool or interesting.

This is one of the latest pictures of the International Space Station. It was taken from the Orbiter Atlantis after undocking from the station during STS-98. They were over Argentina at the time.

There are a lot of us corporate peasants in the Space Biz who think this isn't a half-bad idea, in a perverted sort of way. Hell, It's perfectly logical, isn't it? Everything else is up for sale, why not our Space Program?
This is a beautiful aerial shot of the shuttle taking off from Kennedy Space Center. I don't know which mission or even which orbiter this is, but the picture's pretty spectacular, don't you think?

The next two pictures I had never seen before, until very recently. This is a team of diver's who are preparing to plug one of the Space Shuttle's expended solid rocket motors. These motors fall into the sea, assisted by parachutes, and are plugged and then floated back to shore where they are reused.

This is a drawing of what the International Space Station looked like when the first two modules were docked. The Russian Module was named Zarya, and the Module from the U.S. named Unity. I offer it here as a reference point from which to enjoy the first picture on this page (assuming you give a hoot about humanity's presence in space).
