Meeting Steo and Eloy at a restaurant in Amsterdam

The most unbelievable thing happened on Thursday 18/1/01! My boyfriend Thomas had dinner with a few colleagues in a quite expensive Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam yesterday evening. He told me there were some girls celebrating a birthday at a table near him and they suddenly started giggling and screaming. He looked up and saw Mr STEVE GATELY himself entering the restaurant with Eloy!! Thomas said he would't have recognized him if he hadn't known me. So (this is the best bit) he waited 'till the girls had walked away with Steve's autograph and stood up. He went up to Steve and told him he had met a girl (ME!) who he'd fallen in love with and when he saw her bedroom she had her walls covered with his (Steve's) pics and posters. Steve smiled (awh) and asked if I was a big fan. Thomas told him how I had been supporting BZ since the very beginning and especially liked him. Steve scribbled his autograph on a piece of paper and told Thomas to give it to me. Isn't that sweet!

Thomas thanked him and quickly phoned me to tell the story. I was totally shocked especially 'cause MY boyfriend (who REALLY doesn't like BZ) walked up to Steve to tell him how much his girlfriend loves him! I thought that was such a sweet thing to do! Anyway..Thomas said he thought Steve was really small (yeah..we know) and his hair was greasy. Oh and by the way..Steve was on a diet. I think some people are glad to hear that (including me). Well..that was THE story.
