Oh, shorts every single time. Speedos are one of the most unattractive items of clothing known to man. Best on the likes of Tom Jones, methinks!

At the moment, I'm really into Issey Miyake. Clean, fresh and very me! But I've got so many, one for every occasion you could say!

I have done, haven't we all? There's nowt better than feeling like your skin can breathe after a stressful day. But I'm not slapping it on all the time!

I can do Ronan & Heather Small (burst out into BBC tune Perfect Day sounding so like Heather, it's scary!) see, she could almost be in the room!

Eloy always puts a smile on my face, as do my pet dogs. Oh, and Julie Walters, who I met the other week and had me in complete stitches. That woman is the funniest in the world.

No, never. Oops, I tell a lie. I remember nearly coming out with the 's' word once on live telly, but I managed to keep it hidden well.

Yeah, I must have done. Living in Amsterdam, where the Vengas come from, I have to support the country's home talent. But they do such addictive tunes, I defy anyone not to start tapping their feet.

In the past, yes. But lately, I've got hundreds of pairs stuffed in my sock drawer!

Well, I'm friends with Victoria, and I really admired her tune. It was brilliant. But the Spiller one, well it was the dance tune of the year, wasn't it?

What's the most you've spent on an item of clothing?

Loads and loads. I like my clobber, I like to look good, so if I see something I like, I do get itchy fingers!

If you could duet with anyone, who would it be?

Oooh, there's just too many to mention. Whitney, Stevie Wonder, you name it. Singing with Pavarotti was just astounding. One of the most memorable experiences of my whole life.
