Harbin (Winter, 1998)
Known as a famous tourism city during winter times, it attracts millions of travelers around the world every year. This is a world of ice and snow, you can see so much interesting that you cannot see in your daily life. The winter is a bit warm to the local citizens when I arrived at it, but it is minus 17 centigrade.The most attractive stuff in Harbin during winter is ice lantern, which displays its peak of beauty at night. You will feel stay in the crystal world. Even those road lamps are wrapped with ice, shining brilliant color (pity these photos are not in good effect). Don't forget to do some outdoors sports in winter. The most impressive one is swimming in Song Hua Jiang River. Look at those men and women, it seems that they have no feeling of cooldness. (-20 degrees!!!) |

The city is in deep Russian construction style. I can see so many modern buildings everywhere, but these ones are rarely displayed before my eyes.
