People Square

From the first day when Shanghai begins to flourish, it is only about 100 years ago. At that time Shanghai is only the colony of western countries. The People Square is a racecourse, after 1949 we construct it as a square. And since the 90th, Shanghai government has spent much money to nearly rebuild it. The road is widen, many great constructions have been built along the two side of Square.
