My Couples Preferences! In most case I support the official pairing. Of course that doesn't mean I am opposed to fanfiction with alternate pairings, I just want the author to take into account the storyline and not brush off an obvious character trait. When there is some doubt I have my own choices. If you ask me I can post my opinions on other couples.
Why Tifa is better than Aeris
1. Cloud was secretly in love with her.
2. Aeris was probably just attracted to the remnant of Zack in Cloud.
3. Tifa helped Cloud through his mental problems.
4. Based on the results of the dating game it is obvious that Aeris has a jealous personality. You get more point for her if you tell her you are jealous of Zack. And in Don Coreno's place you lose points for her if you say "We've Gotta help Tifa!", with Tifa its the other way around.
Why Ryoko is better than Ayeka!
1. In Tenchi forever Haruna says that the one with the strongest love for Tenchi will succeed, and in the end Ayeka admits that Ryoko should go instead of her.
2. Ayeka was in love with her suitor Yosho before he left. Then she falls in love with his grandson, I think he just seems to be the kind of person she should love.
3. When Kagato kidnaps Ryoko, Ayeka doesn't want to save her but decides to go as Tenchi's support. Later When Ryoko fights Kagato she handicaps herself in order to protect Ayeka.
4. Ayeka wants to change Tenchi into the Jurai monarch, while Ryoko is willing to make her own sacrifices for her love.
