Hey Pikachu!
This is a neat N64 game where you become friends with a wild Pikachu. It's really interactive, with a microphone where you can speak to Pikachu, and commands that tell him where to go and what to do. The basic aim of the game is to learn how to communicate effectively with Pikachu and learn to understand each other. Pikachu reacts to what you say, understading quite a few words and phrases, and detecting your tone of voice. If you yell at him, ignore him, or call him "stupid" or an "idiot", he'll let you know he's mad by zapping anything and everything around him. Then, he'll run away and hide, and it'll take some time before he trusts you again. Be careful about what you say and how you say it!
It starts with you waking up one morning and looking at your TV, where Prof. Oak is on!. Then, you take a walk into the forest and see a Pikachu sleeping on a tree stump. Talk into the microphone, and it'll wake up. It'll take some time for it to trust you. Talk nice to it and try not to scare him. Dont yell or say anything mean. After some time, he'll trust you and want to play, but you have to go home and sleep. The next morning, you wake up, go to the door, and pikachu will be there waiting for you. He'll be quite happy and start dancing. Then, your real adventure begins.
You'll run into other pokemon, have lunch with charmander and bulbasaur, play a game on the beach with a watermelon, babysit for caterpies, fish for magikarp, and much more. It seems like a really fun, interactive game that many pokemon fans will love.
