Ok, so just about everybody knows the missingno code, right? And you know how sometimes you'll run into level 100+ pokemon. Well, i bet you didnt know that your name determines what pokemon you run into, and what level they're at. The more letters, the more pokemon. When i first read this, i was like "NO WAY!" but i checked it out, and it's TRUE!! it really works! Let me show you.
Ok, my name is short, 3 letters, ISA. (in all capitals. that actually effects it.) the first letter doesnt do a thing. The second letter, S, determines the level, which is 146. and the third, A, determine the pokemon, GOLDUCK. and it checks out. I always run into level 146 golduck! I tried it again with my Friend's name, SAMMMY. again, the first letter doesnt matter. the 2nd letter, A, is level 128, and the next M is the pokemon Missingno. Then, the next letter, M, is level 140, and the last, Y, makes starmie. It checked out again! she was telling me that she always runs into these highlevel starmie and missingno! Try it yourself. Click here for the chart. I'll bet it works!
This is the actual article from the site:
"Ever looked for a certain L100+ Pokemon? Want to find weird Trainers you won't find anywhere else? The new Cinnabar code gives you a great way to find rare glitches or just gaining experience. This is the full expansion on the Missingno. code.
This might be a little hard to understand at first, so if you have any questions, feel free to email me or post it on the message board.
Here's how the code works:
1. The 3rd, 5th, and 7th spots of your name determines which Pokemon you will meet after doing the Missingno. trick, (see the cheats section to find out how to do the Missingno. trick) while the 2nd, 4th, and 6th spots modify their levels, respectively. This means that the three Pokemon/Trainers you will meet at Cinnabar will be:
1 - The Pokemon determined by the third letter/symbol, with the Level determined by the second letter/symbol.
2 - The Pokemon determined by the fifth letter/symbol, with the Level determined by the fourth letter/symbol.
3 - The Pokemon determined by the seventh letter/symbol, with the Level determined by the sixth letter/symbol.
By now you're probably wondering which Pokemon matchs with which letter/symbol, and you could access the list by clicking here.
If you still don't get it, here are some examples:
Enter ANDY: A-doesn't matter, N+D - Level 141 Mewtwo.
Enter POKEMON: P-doesn't matter, O+K - L142 Kingler, E+M - L132 Missingno., O+N - L142 Electrode.
Unfortunately, some Pokemon don't have letter correspondances. However, there's still the problem of the blank space, and Missingno. seems to also generate random Pokemon. Who knows, maybe you might meet a Mew!"
