My favourite Sports

I like allmost every sport, my favourits are triathlon (includes running, biking and swimming), rowing and speed skating. I've been member of a soccer, athletics, tennis, speedskating, swim club. Now I'm a member of a rowing club.

Rowing

I don't know if you know anything about rowing but I row in a C4x+. That means in a boat with four rowers and a steersman, and each rower has two oars. On the image above you see a skiff that is a boat with only one rower and no steersman. I row for one year now and I've just had some matches in Leerdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Netherlands).

Triathlon

Here are some results of mine:

• At The Dutch Championship in Almere in 1997 I became 12th of the boys till 13 years
• At The Dutch Championship in Almere in 1998 I became 23th of the boys till 15 years
• At The European Championship in Almere in 1999 I became 24th of the boys till 15 years

Speed Skating

Speed skating is a fine combination of technique and strenght. The three man above (Romme, Postma and Ritsma) are the best allround speedskaters at the moment of the Netherlands and of the rest of the world. Allround speed skating is a match hold in one weekend where the skaters have to skate a 500, 1500, 5000 and a 10000 m race. The man / woman who is overall the best wins the title.
