My Angel

I have seen the face of an angel

He was a gift that was given to us,

He was not meant for anyone else to hold

No one else could truly see.

My precious little angel

Had so little time to grow,

He made many miracles happen

And he was here to let me know.

My angel lived his life inside of me

And filled my soul with love,

He was my dream come true

Now he resides in Heaven above.

Though my angel was not meant for earth

His love will always stay,

He will always be a big part of us

That will never go away.

My angel had to leave

We will never know why,

His memories will live on forever

And my love for him will never die.

When I think of you my angel

I can still feel you around me,

And I find comfort in the thought

That you are happy and flying free.
