Years ago [apx. 1982-1987] I helped run a BBS in upstate New York called the Big Flats Towne Crier.
At the begining or end of the year each year I used to post my "Predictions" of where computing was going, and what I expected to happen in the coming year.
I didn't think much of it but the users of the board seemed to, and I think I did a fairly good job.
Too bad I didn't keep record of those predictions.

Well, "Future Eyes" goes beyond the BFTC days, here I am trying to predict on no particular time table, and I'm not really focusing on the technology, so much as the phylosophy.

I'm not setting myself out as a special expert on these topics (although in my own way I am)
I am merely presenting them for examination and speculation. So please, read on and enjoy, and think while we still have the edge.
