About Page

This document describes what's the idea behind my web presentation. It lists the topics of my web presentation, what information it is to contain, and what messages it is to spread.

  Reasons for maintaining this homepage:

  • Convince people to use DOS, or at least let them realise there are alternatives to windows.
  • To provide useful information about DOS and great DOS programs i use.
  • Give worthwhile information and links to other sites on the subject of electronics.
  • To make this world a better place.
  • 4 fun...

What's to be on the page:

topic info message
DOS & DOS programs
  • DOS manufacturers
    DR-DOS, FreeDOS, PTS-DOS, REAL/32
  • DOS software
Arachne browser, Fractint, Gif Tools, Neopaint
  • DOS & Windows 95
    MS-DOS & Win95
    DR-DOS & Win95
    PTSDOS & Win95
DOS is great! It's simple, reliable and more stable than WINDOWS. There's more than MS-DOS!

There's a lot of nice DOS software around, and still being developed.

It is possible to run DOS in combination with Windows 95.
Electronics
  • My projects
    • LPT leds
    • NullModem
    • Parallel 0 modem
  • Links
    • Philips
    • ...

As i am an electronics student why not build a page about electronics? Here i present the 'great' things i've developed.

Also some links to more serious Electronics sites.

Remi's Software
    RTETRIS, Commutes, GP-DATE, Shutdown
The greatest 'programs' i've ever written...

  Organisation & navigation:

The content of my web presentation is organised according to the principle of 'hierarchy'.

  ANY BROWSER and HTML4.0 effort:

These pages are made with the intention to be viewable with a wide range of browser software. I've only used 'straight forward' loose HTML tags, no 'difficult' things like frames, style sheets and java.

These pages were tested on Arachne browser for DOS, NETSCAPE 3.0 and 4.7, the W3C's browser Amaya, the very nice cross platform & free for non commercial use Star Office 5.1, and LYNX text only browser. If you think you've found something 'wrong' in my pages, please contact me: [email protected].
