This Windows 95 software package provides a user friendly interface for system configuration and transaction reporting for an unlimited number of Flexi-Scan E units

Features

Windows 95 software lets you use all the normal Windows features, as menus, movable

toolbars, etc.

System requirements:

a) Minimum: 10Mb RAM, 486-50, mouse, colour VGA screen, hard disk space 100Mb

b) Recommended (larger installations): 16 (32) Mb RAM, Pentium 133 (200)

Hardware settings:

a) Use multiple serial ports for + 16 reader systems, or use both RS232 and RS485 readers

b) Add and delete readers, or edit reader names.

c) Modify settings for each reader

- Latch mode: pulsed, continuous, toggled

- Latch time

- Alarm duration

- Door open and door not opened alarm parameters

d) 2000 tags can be pre-entered for installers system tag control.

e) Use any system's reader as log in unit.

f) Use a Uni-Scan or Flexi-Scan E reader as log in unit at the PC location.

Configuration Menu

a) Create a user list and assign tags to users, re-assign a new tag to users with lost tags

b) Create groups of persons for easier access management.

c) Add, remove and edit user and group information (2000 users, unlimited group quantity)

d) Disable single users, complete groups or readers temporarily.

e) Use pin codes for selected users and on selected readers = mixed tag-only and tag pin-code use.

f) Allocate access: select users or groups allowed at each reader. Main advantage compared to DOS software.

g) Synchronize reader clocks with PC clock.

h) Event counting and credit given functionality.

Transactions:

a) Real Time mode shows you every transaction directly on screen.

b) Activate reader relays from the PC in real time mode.

Reports:

a) Use a very powerful and user friendly method to filter the requested data out of the large transaction database. The filter combination is made with tag name, person, group name, reader, port, transaction type and date time period selection.

b) Direct on screen display of filtered transactions

c) Direct total calculation of event counts for the filtered transactions.

d) Printing of filtered transactions.

e) Delete filtered transactions.

Integrate translation mode allows self-translation or editing of all program text.

Switching to another language by adding the appropriate language files, even in existing installations.
