Time & Attendance Control for the Link-Scan System
The Time & Attendance Control is an addition to the Link-Scan System. The Time & Attendance Control consists in |
the simplest case of one Link-Scan Controller and one or several clocking terminals (Base Terminals), the number |
of the required tags and the affiliated software. |
In the normal case, the use if the Time Control takes place in connection with the Access Control. However the |
Base Terminals are integrated into the Link-Scan network. The Time Control software uses the data of the tag |
holders of the Access Control software. |

Features and possibilities of the system |
Beside the normal clocking out at the normal working hours up to 4 special reason codes for clocking out are |
possible. These special clocking outs enable the processing and assignment of working time differences like for |
example "Out on Duty" or "Doctor" for overtime. The meaning of these special reasoning can be chosen freely in the |
program by the user. The working time accounts can be led across the year. An administration of conventional shifts |
is of course also possible. Automatic shift change is also a standard feature. |
The setting and maintenance of the system can be made easier by the preparation and utilization of different groups |
and standard working time models. It passes the possibility that beside the daily clocking in and clocking out also |
a recording of the break times takes place. The system assigns the clocking times automatically to the |
pre-determined break time. |
By setting certain time slots and rounding factors, an adding up of single minutes with the clocking in and out can be |
avoided. With the attempt of clocking out, without clocking in, an error message is passed out and the clocking out is |
denied . Various filters ease the analysis of the recorded data as well as the search for specific transactions. |
Hardware |
Passive proximity transponder technology à without mechanical wear. |
Tags in Credit Card format a no battery is necessary |
Slots for Clocking in and Clocking out a easy operation |

Up to 1 kilometre (up to 3 km with line repeater) |
Connection to the Host PC with an interface converter (converter from RS 485 to RS232) |
Data exchange between Controller and Terminals with 9600/19200 baud a extremely short reaction time |
On system failure (blackout or failure of Host PC) the system works offline, on start of the system the accumulated |
Transaction data will be delivered to the computer |
4 push buttons on terminals can be freely defined by the software with reason codes for clocking out |
Later upgrading to Access Control is possible |
