How Long

It must have been so long ago
The day that we first met
Some day we've lost to foggy time
And misty antiquity.

When was the day you caught my eye
And stole my heart for good
The first time that you spoke my name
Sparks within my brain.

Feel the current from my fingers
On your fair and supple skin
Feel my lips upon your flesh
When did we begin

I know it hasn't been that long
The day that we first met
But in my heart I know it best
It's longer than we think.
