Educational Summary

Granger High xxx School xxxx xx (Class of 1993)

I graduated from Granger High School in 1993. There I was a member of the National Honor Society, German Club, and Chess Club. My favorite classes were Gym, German, and Beginning Drafting. I received the Presidential Academic Fitness Award.

Ricks College (1993-1994)

I received an academic scholarship for the 1993-94 school year at Ricks. My major was Math. During this year I had what I considered the best job on campus, working at the he Bowling Alley. My favorite classes were Astronomy, Music and the Humanities, Class Piano, and 2nd Semester German. By the end of the year I realized that I was not going to fulfill my lifes ambitions through Math.

Albanian Mission (1995-1997)

I left School to serve a 2 year mission for my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I served in the country of Albania for two year. During this time, I learned a foreign language, gained respect for another culture and lifestyle, and saw first hand the struggles of the Albanian people as they dealt with poverty, and civil unrest in a country emerged from communism. I regard this time as two of the most educational years of my life.

Ricks College (1997-1998)

After my mission, I returned to Ricks College. I changed my major to Family Science, but continued to take classes in other majors. My favorite classes were my F.S. classes, Geology, and Technical Writing. Once again I worked at the Bowling alley and had a riot hanging out with my roomates and friends. I graduated April 1998 from Ricks with my Associates Degree in Family Science

Brigham Young University xxx (1999-2000)

After Ricks College I tranfered to Brigham Young University and continued to persue a degree in Family Studies. I loved my classes especially the ones relating to theory. The highlight of this time was actually being able to put what I was learning into practice. During my first semester at BYU, I met Deb in class. We dated and married December 1999. While at BYU, I was employed by two professors on campus, and taught life skills lectures. I completed all my course work in April of 2000 and graduated August 2000 with my bachelors in Family Science. My emphasis of study is building and maintaining strong relationships
