My Dad  Is Better Than Your Dad

My Dad works hard and travels a lot...

My Dad always came home at night.

My Dad sent me to camp every year...

My Dad took me camping.

My Dad bought me a train set...

My Dad and I built my train set together.

My Dad took me to the airport to watch the planes...

My Dad helped me build model planes and

taught me the basics of flight.

My Dad called me from work most every day...

My Dad took me with him and taught me his work.

My Dad said you should be honest...

My Dad was honest.

My Dad was so tough he never cried...

My Dad cried when I graduated from college.

My Dad always hired the finest craftsman...

My Dad  was a craftsman.

My Dad laughed a lot...

My Dad could laugh at himself.

My Dad told me to respect women...

My Dad respected women.

My Dad always bought me expensive gifts...

My Dad went without so I had a gift.

My Dad was strict and commanded respect...

My Dad knew mercy and was respected.

My Dad bought me a car...

My Dad gave me his motorcycle.

My Dad said," do as I say not as I do"...

My Dad did what he said he would do.

My Dad gave money to the poor...

My Dad drove a truck full of clothes to give to

the poor.

My Dad said "save your money for a rainy day"...

My Dad gave his money away so that it would

chase the clouds away.

My Dad said he loved me...

My Dad did.
