History
In its short history St George Illawarra
has achieved quite allot. In their first season they not only qualified
for 1999 NRL Finals Series but made the Grand Final and lost it in the
final seconds in ridiculous circumstances. In 2000 they suffered with the
loss of high profile players due to retirement and deciding to go else
where for 2000.
