Dragonball Z Fighters combines action with along with the story lines. You can acquire new skills in the story mode and customise them for use in the battle mode. You can also fight with or against your favourite Dragon Ball Z characters. There are a totaly of 23 different characters for you to choose from. Win the tournaments and buy new skills with your prize money, or you can exchange your skills with your friends. All of the animation is based on the television series. This game definiately takes advantage of the graphic capabilities of the Playstation 2. The main features and options include a Story Mode, Battle Mode, Practice Mode, Skill Edit Mode, and the Tenkaichi Budokai Mode. In the story mode, you collect skills while you play through the Dragonball Z story. In battle mode, you are able to battle with a custom-edited character. Practice mode enables you to perfect attack combinations to prepare for battle. The Skill Edit mode allows you to edit or exchange acquired skills. To get the Tenkaichi Budokai mode, you must win a gold medal at the tournament. There is also an extra hidden mode that you have to unlock.
