''Introduction to the Project Page'' Hello there, before you enter the project page, I suggest you read this paragraph first to get the background idea of what project was carried out during my industrial attachment period.

My name is Indrashah Isa and I'm a final year student of Temasek Polytechnic, studying in School of ITAS (Information Technology and Applied Science), class M 31 C. I'll be doing a same project as my classmate Daniel Chua. We are attached to a research institute known as KENT RIDGE DIGITAL LABS, KRDL (pronounced as 'cradel'). KRDL has many organisational sections, and the organisational section that we are attached to is known as KNOWLEDGE LAB. Here, we learnt and create programs for the project.

Basically I'm doing a project on organising information on the Internet. I'm going to use a programming software known as Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 to create a program that automatically identify important components of a document (e.g. title, author, date of publication, etc..) in a particular Internet webpage. This process of identifying important components of a document is known as Text-Mining or Data-Mining. Upon identifying the important components in that page, the program will index those components for easy retrieval and access. The electronic informational documents I'm going to use for this project are those Internet webpages that carry information on RoboCup (The Robot World Cup Soccer Games). The title of this project is 'AUTONOMOUS BIBLIOGRAPHY BUILDING AGENT' or 'ABBA'.

The project developement will be presented in a choronological sequence following closely throughout the entire attachment period. A project log will be available for the completed tasks done for each day of the attachment period. I hope now you have a rough idea of what the project is all about.
