Monday	6/7/98	Read company manuals, documents and Internet webpages to get to know more about the company. Orientation in KRDL, getting to know the place as well as the staff.
Tuesday	7/798	Surf the Internet to obtain information on RoboCup. Read accompanying notes on Text-mining, part of the project. Read books on Visual Basic 5.0 software.
Wednesday	8/798	Start creating webpages for the project.Organize them into categories. Read the remaining articles on Text-mining. Search the Internet for components to the project pages (e.g. information on RoboCup, animations, etc.)
Thursday	9/7/98	Learning chapter 1 of Visual Basic 5.0 (vb5), hands-on practice on lesson learned. Meeting with Supervisor in KRDL, Tralvex Yeap, about the project and its guidelines. Modification of individual webpages to suit the project guidelines.
Friday	10/7/98	Register at Fortunecity.Com as a home page user to its server and upload some ready project Internet webpages. Editing webpages due to server faults. Learning chapter 2 of Visual Basic 5.0 (vb5), hands-on practice on lesson learned.

Weekly Summary of Task / Assignment

Introduction Kent Ridge Digital Labs
Getting to know more about the company by reading materials on the Internet and company documents. Orientation to the company's surrounding and staffs.

Introduction to RoboCup
Knowing what RoboCup is all about. This is done by visiting Internet websites relevant to the topic, RoboCup. Printout and saving documents that have useful information on RoboCup.

Introduction to Project
Meeting with supervisor (Tralvex Yeap) in KRDL about the attachment project. Received project topic and the general overall duties on the project. Also received notes and supplementary reading materials associated with the project. Reading of notes and supplementary reading materials associated with the project for a better understanding on the project.

Introduction to the software that is going to be used in the project
Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0. A programming software that is going to be used in the project and throughout its entire development. Read manuals and books on how to use the software. Go through the multimedia teaching aid to learn the software.

Constructing Internet webpages for the project presentation and application
Construct multiple webpages and designate each of them to a specific theme, which pertains to the project. Example, 'Mystical Me' is a page providing information about me, 'The Enlightenment' is a page elaborating all components of the project and its development and etc.. Use Microsoft Front Page Editor and Netscape Editor to create, publish and edit webpages. Register at Fortunecity.Com as a user of 11 megabytes of server space to publish the webpages associated with the project.
