- Touch on the report documentation, specifically on the 'Introduction' portion and the
'Work in the company' portion.
- Do a final compilation on the information on the RoboCup '98 competitors list in
Microsoft Word, and pass it to Tralvex in a soft copy.
- Perform some minor organisation to the Web Val 2.0 user-interface. Cannot perform
debugging due to unavailability on Internet services as the network is not connected to my
computer yet (on-line access is unavailable).

- Have an hour meeting session with liaison officer from Temasek Polytechnic, Mrs. Ho-Tan
Liang Gek. Discuss about project development and difficulties faced during the past nine
weeks of the student industrial attachment.
- Demonstration of the Web Val 2.0 program to liaison officer during her second visit to
KRDL.
- Touch on the report documentation, specifically on the 'Work in the company' portion.
- Fixing the network problem, try to get connected to the local network and configure the
machine I am using to the local network's required configuration. Aid help from the
network technicians and my supervisor.

- Did some project documentation, touch on the 'Work in the company' portion.
- Search for new RoboCup papers on the Internet. Found a lot of redundant information,
information that already exist in the RoboCup bibliography in the local drive.
- Read mails delivered from the mailing list. Try to use the information and apply it onto
my validator program. Cannot seem to work on my program due to some errors and different
configuration and different programming codes.

- Search for other RoboCup '98 team that was not included in the competitors list. Spent
four hours searching for the information.
- Spent two hour searching for the new RoboCup papers. Upon identifying the information, I
validate it, ensure that the newly acquired infor mation does not repeat in the RoboCup
bibliography.
- Dubugging the Web Val 2.0 Visual Baic program. Try to use the abort function more
effectively during the validation process. Make the status bar more informative and more
vivid, when the process is on execution.
- Did some of the 'Introduction' portion of the report documentation. Provide information
on Kent Ridge Digital Labs, supervisor from KRDL Tralvex Yeap and KRDL's services to the
nation.

- Received a confirmation note from Tralvex (via e-mail) regarding the continuation of the
assignment on updating the RoboCup ’98 competitors list.
- Spent two hours searching for new teams that is not included in the RoboCup ’98
competitors list. Found a team from Japan.
- Spent three hours searching and validating of new RoboCup papers, zip up the new
postscripts and ignore the duplicates and the irrelevant ones.
- Debugging some of the errors in my Visual Basic program. I reprogrammed the programming
codes that pertain to the clearing of the URL list box. When the clear URL command button
is clicked, all the Url will be cleared from the URL list box and also the fetched Url
text box.
- Reorganised the programming codes to obtain a clearer picture of the start and end point
of each line of the programming codes. Aim at enhancing the understanding of reading the
programming.

On the tenth week of the student
industrial attachment in Kent Ridge Digital Labs, I carry out several documentation
assignments. Some examples includes starting my report which is also known as project
documentation, the continuation of the compilation of the RoboCup'98 competitors list and
not forgetting updating the RoboCup bibliography with the new RoboCup papers. I also touch
on my Visual Basic program, did some organisation of its programming code and debugging
some of the errors. Below are more detailed information on the focused assignment I
undertake for this week.
