Every religion has very clear teachings and distinction between right and wrong. The three most practicing religions started to show humanity what is right and what is wrong. The Judaism started when Israelite was oppressed in miserable conditions under the slavery of Egyptian false God Pharos. Moses (PBS) brought freedom and the holly book Torah, absolute law from God for his believers. This book defined clear definition of right and wrong. Jesus (PBS) was born when there was discrimination and oppression against a certain group of people. The weak and sick were excluded from the cities to live in human conditions. The Jesus (PBS) also was blessed with the holly scripts of Bible and clear distinctions of moralities. When Mohammed (PBS), the founder of Islam was born, Arabia was an immoral and lawless society. Arabia was divided into several tribes without any central government. There was no safety for travelers, slavery was a major commodity of trade. Daughters were being buried alive because, they were considered a shame for the family. Mohammed (PBS) brought a very clear massage from God. Muslim was blessed with the holly book of Koran, which addresses every aspect of life. The rules to run the government, right of individuals, equality, and clear distinction between good and evil acts.
The thin Grey line started fading when people turned away from religious teachings and values. When people started considering the religion as a secondary thing. Society lost the sense of right and wrong, when it became materialistic rather then religious. The only concern in life is left to acquire luxury, comfort, and welfare. In search of good life and material things people started loosing the sense of goodness and moral values. Many people started cheating, stealing, and taking or offering bribes. Now, there is a common excuse to get away with "So what! Every body does that." Competition for luxurious life and show off are the only values left in human beings. Criminals are less worried about earthly laws because, they can easily manipulate them. There is no fear of God, or punishment for wrong doing in the life here after. The law enforcers are using their power to earn luxury and to increase their bank balances. Favoritism and discrimination has become very much a fashion. The businesses are making unreasonable profits. The politicians are only concerned about their ratings in public pole. General public is also becoming senseless, and trying to join the immoral materialistic race for luxurious life. The concept of God, his rewards, and punishment for wrong deeds is now considered as an out of fashion thing. Without clear religious beliefs the humanity will cross all the lines which indicate distinction between right and wrong. As a result, lawlessness will become an every day practice.
The lawless society is creating and strengthening the faithless democracies. The faithless people are sneaking in governments with their immoral and dangerous ideas. The faithless governments are unable to control the flow and promotion of crimes and immoral attitude. The governments are unable to provide equality, justice, and protection to their citizens. Often in such societies the laws are helpless to address very important immoral issues. Controversial issues of abortion and gay life style are the two issues out of many which are undecided in the hand of faithless authorities. On the other hand, religions are very clear about these kind of evil behaviors and consider them as an evil act. Such kind of democratic governments are toys in the hand of criminals, and the people with power and influence. Without the fear of God, every evil act can be accepted as a regular and normal practice. General public is becoming senseless to turn a blind eye to evil and immoral behaviors.
The religions are the origin and bases of moral and ethical values. Faith draws a very clear thick line between what is right, and what is wrong. The faith also provides the solid and unavoidable reasons to stay away from bad deeds and promises the reward for good behaviors, in the life hereafter. The materialism, faithlessness, and race of taking lead with one an others, is taking societies to the extreme of moral blindness. The faithless democracies and governments are helping and promoting the images of lawlessness, criminals, and immoral ideas. What is going to happen to religious and decent ways of life? Are humans turning back to stone ages? If there is any decency left in us, we have to change our way of thinking and turn back to old and religious life style. We have to respect each others. We should start realizing that the act that can bother us can also disturb others. We have to recall our religious values and start practicing them, before it gets too late. We have to set some good examples for our next generations, and try to teach them the real and decent moral values, so they can have sense to change the attitude of moral blindness and live in the world with peace and harmony.
