Clooney discusses Intolerable Cruelty character
George Clooney's new rom-com Intolerable Cruelty is set to hit our screens in a couple of weeks and the movie sees him reunite with his O Brother, Where Art Thou? collaborators The Coen brothers.
And scripter Ethan Coen has revealed that George decided early on that the part he plays in the new film,
that of dentally-obsessed lawyer Miles Massey, should be related to his O Brother character.
"George decided that his character is a descendent of the guy Everett McGill he played in O Brother, Where Art Thou?," says Ethan, "He's kind of glib and taken with himself."
"Everett was all about hair. Miles—he's all about teeth. So he's always getting his teeth cleaned and checking his teeth—which made me laugh a lot," George elaborated.
