Yuri couples
Haruka & Mitshiru (Sailor Moon)
These two were probably the fisrt Yuri couple I ran into. The two fit well together, being almost the exact opposites of one another, both physcily as well as in charestiristics. Especially I like Haruka of the two, being very different form any other Sailor Shensi. She's so blunt, tough (sometimes to a point of annoyance), boyish and sometiesm very agressive (Seyia vs. Haruka). And those trates compliment Mitshirus fragility, subtlness and calm feminity very well.
Utena & Anthy (Revolutionary girl Utena)
Anothr personal favourite of mine, even more than the one above. Somehow I really like this couple, the naive, open and noble Utena and the secretive, calm and sad eyed Rose Bride. There's a cerntain innocence to it and I guess that appeals to me.
Plus, I too have a bit of a Prince complex, (and I'm hoplessly naive) so indetifying with Utena is very easy.

You know it bothers me that there are so little Yuri pairings out there done by fans, and so many Yaoi pairings. I wonder why that is. And the amount of proper Yuri fansites is very small, or at least I'm having trouble finding any. So get up people and make sites for your fave couples!
Yaoi couples
Yamato & Taichi (Digimon)
I'm not sure whether this can be considered as a real couple (although it is claimed that in some uncensored eps. in Japan these two are a couple), but all the same a very good pairing. The quite, mytesrious Yamato and the open hearted, strong willed Taichi are a perfect match. And don't they look so cute, especailly when they fight. Personally I think this is the only pairing in Digimon that is interesting.
Goku & Vegeta
I know, this is not an actual couple, maybe not even a potential one, but just a pairing that would be very titulating. Two old enemys, completely different in nature, intelligence and spirit (as about as different as it gets). To Vegeta, loving Goku would probably be the ultimate "sin" so to speak. Imagine him, the Prince of the Saya-jin with a third-class moron, whos butt he's been trying to kick for years. And that's exactly why Vegeta & Goku would be so great.
Trunks & Goten
This is something that could actully happen, since the two know each other better than anyone, and have been friends since childhood. Kind of reminds me of the Ally McBeal "sniffed each others butt"-thingy. Anyways, these two would balance each other quite well.
Future Trunks and Future Gohan
Mmm....I just love these teenage/adult things don't I. Wouldn't it be just greate, the hunky, handsome, intelligent Future Gohan and the cute, naive teenage Trunks. What juicy stories could come from that?
