M-Web Business Solutions (Professional Services)

Block E, Greenacres, Victory Road, Victory Park

Position Product Manager - Electronic Commerce

Main Duties

I was originally employed to manage and oversee the integration of legacy systems to Internet enabled Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer offerings.

The position has materially changed since I started, due to internal restructuring issues, where I was offered - and have accepted - a position as the Product manager for M-Web's Business-to-Business e-commerce product, E-Trade. Also, I am the product manager for M-Web's custom development. Soon, I will have the other e-commerce product, E-Commerce, which is the M-Web Business-to-Consumer offering. During the short time I have spent here, I have:

  • Been a stand in Product manager for Connectivity
  • Prepared and presented solutions on VPN's, Supplier Chain Management and e-Trade/e-Business.
  • In November, I will be presenting a paper to the UN sponsored Finance Africa Conference on the "Web and Africa's Development".
