JHE - About JHE
JHE stands for Joshua Hrouda Electronics.
I started my business back at school selling small electronic devices.
I initially sold only two products. The 1st (I think) was a FM wireless microphone.
It was a kit I bought from Dick Smith Electronics. The teacher who it was for never
ended up getting it, but that's not the point. That was in 1985.
The 2nd device was a decision maker. It was for another teacher, in 1987. It was
completed, looked pretty good and worked fine. I wonder how it is these days, 11 years
later!
I also did a few other electronics-related sales then, but nothing to live off.
Then as the years went on, I made a little bit more money. From memory, I sold
roughly about 6-8 devices between 1989 & 1992 when I was at high school. Made hardly
any money... but then, that's the way it is today aswell!
Business hasn't really picked up much since then. I have however, done more complicated
jobs, and even some on-site SMD & though-hole assembly & manufacturing. That was
interesting.
There hasn't really been a time that stands out in my memory as being a boom time for
JHE, but oh well... there might be one soon.
If you are wanting any kits assembled, (simple) circuits designed, or something
similar (including programs written) contact me for further information.
