DXBall Community Website - The unnoficial site of DXBall (a great breakout game)!
Visible Human Project - The Visible Human Project is a very interesting, practical & educational thing. It's those 2 people, 1 male & 1 female. Dead, and sliced up, very thinly sliced, and scanned at very high res., to produced a computerised 3-D collection of data. This site is a bit ambiguous as to how one can get a hold of the data, for personal viewing/home learning, sorta thing.
EnoWeb, the Brian Eno site - Heard of Brian Eno ? He's the guy who did The Microsoft Sound(.wav) (Win95 version). He's done plenty of other 'ambient' kinda music.

Pentomino Fuzion Puzzles - Stuff about an interesting game/puzzle called Pentominoes, and it's variants. This game (a computerised version of it) was filmed in 2001: A Space Odessey, but never used in the movie.
mBox - mBox can give you a free voice mail. Which can be accessed by calling a local phone number. Each voicemail box gets a unique number (mine is 8588-8580). Callers can dial it, and leave a message. They can also send a fax. You can call back and retreive the voice messages. You can also hear them as e-mail attachments (over the net), and you need to use the e-mail feature to retrieve any incoming faxes. It's a great free service, which I used to take my calls automatically (diverted, on busy) when I was on the net, but it does have problems, like when time & date stamping the messages, it NEVER gets it right, or anywhere NEAR correct.
Krazy Karl's MP3 player in his car! - great setup! Allows him to play hundereds of MP3s from a standard PC installed in his car!
Quios - Allows you to send free SMSs to any SMS-capable mobile phone. But you do get a 3 message per day limit, unless registered. But then, that can probably be easily defeated.
IBM's patent serverAllows you to search (nearly?) any patent, and get detailed information!! Most people think of patented things as being trade secrets, and similar, but they're FREE for people to read about, peruse, and learn from. Just don't try and sell the idea, or use it in your own product (for reatil) (or similar), without the patent grantee's permission!! AFAIK, you can use it for your own personal use, which is ok by me!
Semiconductor datasheets on the web - what more can I say? The title says it all
Useful electronic links - what more can I say? The title says it all
International lyrics server - This page allows you to find a song, if you only remember a few lines of it. You may know all the song, but forget who it is by. Or if you want the lyrics TO a song, then this page will help. Note: many listed songs don't have the lyrics available. If they do, then you'll need to accept 2 net certificates. They basically stop you from copying the text to your clipboard, and therefore, you can't save the lyrics! You could... but it's a big hassle. If you want to SAVE lyrics to your HDD, then I'd suggest using a fan page, or similar.
M$ DLL help database- Allows you to find out little or lots of (depending on each DLL) information on particular DLLs. Type in the DLL name (eg: ADVAPI32), and it brings up the info.

The world of FairLight - has tons of C64 conversion utils
The official MAME site - MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) emulates nearly all arcade games, as best as possible, usually with tons of options! This is a MUST if you like arcade games! With each new release, it supports more and more games! To find these games to 'plug-in' to MAME, you can hunt around the net, or go to the links page of the MAME site, and it has a collection of sites that have game ROMsets on offer. It's not going to take you to all of the available games, but it's a start.
The official MESS site - MESS (Multi Emulator Super System) emulates hundreds (nearly!) of computers, and consoles. Related to MAME, and functions very much the same. Uses computer/console 'plug-ins' so it can be adapted for any system (nearly). This is a MUST if you like computer/console emulators in general!
MESS ROMs - MOST, if not all of the system BIOS & similar ROMs and related images, to allow you to get MESS to work fully!!
ACT 2.0 - ACT (Archive Comparison Test) is great, to see the differences & similarities between archivers. It also lets you see just how many more there are, other than Zip & StuffIt!!
Camera compatibility - of various digital cameras. Doesn't contain all brands or models, but does mention some you've probably never heard of!

It has had numerous articles & columns on countless other things. The official site has downloads, news, errata, competions, a webcam, etc.!
Computer Bazaar - I used to work for them. They changed their name to Sydney City Computers. I still kept working for them. The site is and has STAYED a JOKE!! Full of errors, never-before seen images, logos and mottos! It also has links that don't work, products that CB never sold, and common products that were sold, aren't included! Anyway, it's worth a laugh (at), at least... sorry Ali!!
NewerRAM - they do RAM for Apple Macintosh computers, and compatibles. The reason I go there, is to check for the latest version of GURU. GURU has information on nearly every Macintosh!!
Newer Technology
- see above (same thing, takes you to the GURU download thing easier, for now, at least).
Here's my new (not any more!) site (thanks to Spaceports)!
