My skyscraper super computer
My computer is currently going to be about 81cm high, and about 7cm wider
than a standard tower case.
It will have about 28 5.25" bays. It will have 3 large FDDs vertically on the
left. The 3 FDDs will be an 8", a 12" and possibly a 9.25".
It will have a PSU with UPS built-in.
It will have an extra/a few extra batteries to run the UPS, AND...
An internal 12VDC to 240VAC interver.
A set of multi-purpose heavy, medium & light-duty voltage terminals at the
back, for input and output of voltage. So I can connect the computer to a car
battery, for example. Or use a protable device from the power of the
computer.
A TV tuner card
A multi-band radio tuner card
A good SCSI card
A 3" FDD
A 3.5" Mac FDD
A 5.25" FDD
A Zip drive
An LS-120 drive
A microcassette drive (to be custom made by myself)
A VHS VCR drive (to be custom made by myself)
An 8-track drive (to be custom made by myself)
A record player (45RPM singles, 33.3RPM 12" discs, etc.) (to be custom made
by myself)
And a few other things!
